Arachova is many visitors attraction especially in winter, because of the proximity of the ski center, however, and other seasons are worth to visit and wander the narrow streets and admire the traditional, rustic architecture with stone houses and chimneys, and the surrounding cosmopolitan atmosphere to the streets. So starting up from Arachova and after a magical journey where dominates the green of fir trees on the slopes, we will take a journey through time to visit the imposing Delphi, just 10 km. Known as the ‘navel of the world’, form the point established and flourished the most important religious center of ancient and famous oracle. Indeed, the archaeological site was declared in 1987 by UNESCO monument. Being in this state ancient, we will have the opportunity to tour various exciting attractions such as the Delphic Landscape and Phaedriades (hence precipitating the profane), the temple of Athena Pronaia, the Gymnasium, the Castalia Spring, the Temple and the Temple Apollo, the Treasure of Sifnos and the Athenians, the Stoa of the Athenians, the retaining wall, the Ancient Theatre and Stadium etc.
We return to Athens and the hotel after a hearty day, enchanted and refreshed by the experience we lived!
